Ride The World Differently was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to experience cycling in nature, in a way that feels safe, joyful, and genuinely accessible. Shaped by lived experience, curiosity, and a love of adventure, we design cycling holidays and events that put people first. This is about slowing down, removing barriers, and creating space for confidence, connection, and unforgettable moments on two wheels, three wheels, or more.

Pop-up try-outs

Pop-up cycle try-outs are a chance to explore what’s possible, in a relaxed and supportive setting. Working in partnership with Get Cycling, we bring a range of standard and non-standard cycles to accessible locations, so people can try different options without pressure. It’s about curiosity, confidence, and discovery. Turning “I wonder if this could work for me” into hands-on experience.

These sessions are fully supported, with knowledgeable staff on hand to help with setup, adjustments, and guidance. Whether you’re exploring cycling for the first time, returning after a break, or trying a new type of cycle, pop-up try-outs offer a safe and welcoming space to experiment, ask questions, and find what feels right. Often, a short ride is all it takes to open the door to future adventures.

If you have an event, community group, workplace, or organisation who you think would enjoy hearing about our adventures and trying out some bikes, we’d love to come to you. We can bring a selection of cycles, share what our inclusive cycling holidays are all about, and create a relaxed space for people to ask questions and have a go. Just get in touch and we’ll see how we can make it work.

York Inclusive Cycling

Inclusive cycling in York is all about making it easy to give things a go. We host regular supported cycling sessions at York Sport, every Tuesday from 10am–1pm, offering a relaxed environment to explore different ways of cycling. Whether you’re curious, returning to cycling, or looking for something that works better for your body or confidence, these sessions are about taking time, asking questions, and enjoying being outdoors on wheels.

If you’re planning to come along, just let us know and we’ll meet you there. We can also bring additional bikes to try out if there’s something specific you’re interested in, from trikes to other non-standard options. It’s informal, supportive, and designed to help you find what works for you, with no pressure and plenty of encouragement.
